Cathleen Weinrich:
Composer / Arranger

Cathleen Weinrich is a composer and arranger currently living in the Los Angeles area. She studied classical piano for several years before being introduced to jazz and popular music as a teenager. Her professional career began in San Diego, in her early teens, recording vocal and instrumental tracks for jingles. It was during this time, she also played in multiple bands, both domestically and in Europe. In 1993, she moved to Burbank and began working for Disney Studios as an international music supervisor. While at Disney, Cathleen oversaw recording, editing and mixing of all dubbed vocals of such titles as "Tarzan," "Brother Bear" and "Emperor's New Groove," to name a few. To date, Cathleen has spent 12 years arranging and directing vocals for various recording artists. Most recently, she worked with Brian Kahanek on his CD, "Suicide King." Over the years, Cathleen has worked very closely with award winning engineer, Gustavo Borner of Igloo Music.

She is currently working in music prep with some of the major composers in Hollywood. She has worked on films such as "The Simpson's Movie," "Pirates Of The Caribbean," "Transformers,"
"Disturbia," and she has worked on several TV series, including "Lost" and "Desperate Housewives."

She is said to have her own very unique and intimate style of music, which is deep and thought-provoking, and is also a key reason that she's begun writing and arranging her own music for future use in film and television.
