Scott Howe has been interested in films and filmmaking since he was a kid and his father introduced him to the original 1933 film, King Kong. By the time he was in middle school, Scott had made countless super-8 "masterpieces" and followed his passion into High School and then college, where he studied Filmmaking, TV Production, and Film History.

Since college, he has written and produced radio commercials, produced industrial videos and, more recently, TV spots for local clients in Sacramento. In addition to his work behind the scenes, he has also done character voice work for radio. He has won local and national awards for his work as a graphic designer, a composer, a painter, and filmmaker. Scott currently manages graphics and website design within the press/communications office of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation; his work for their website garnered him top honors when he received the SCIOC award for "Best California State Website" in 2009. In his free time, he enjoys his other passions as a musician, and an occasional blogger on the paranormal in Sacramento.

After nearly a twenty-year haiatus from filmmamking, Scott returned to his favorite passion in 2006, writing, directing, and scoring "The Trade," which received the honor of "Best Story" at that year's 10x10 Filmmaker Challenge. In 2007, he completed "Section Eight," for the 10x10 Filmmaker Challenge where his film won second place. That same year, his film, "Kindred," received Best Acting and Best Special Effects awards at the "Place Called Sacramento" Film Festival. In 2008, "Kindred" went on to win the "Cultural Perspectives" award in the national Hometown Video Awards festival, held in Washington D.C.

Scott is currently in pre production on "Widow," starring Ana Feliciano, a Louise Brooks short film biopic, and just completed a music video for The Zoo Human Project.
